KBB Organisers Declare 2016 was “Best Show Yet”

The 6-9th of March 2016 saw the triumphant return of the biggest event in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom industry – The KBB Exhibition.

The biennial event organisers are calling KBB 2016 the “best” in the show’s long history with over 15,500 visitors (a 14% increase on the previous event) attending the NEC, Birmingham over a jam-packed four days. Those visitors were treated to even more of the biggest industry brands with 35% more exhibitors than 2014 with a particularly impressive showing from international giants Scavolini, Schueller, Neolith and Bagno Design.

A bright and buoyant vibe throughout the duration of the 4 days has been cited by many as contributing towards the success of this year’s show. Positive feedback for 2016 has been has been significant for an event that has most certainly made a spectacular return to form. Perhaps that’s why KBB 2018 has already achieved a record 65% re-booking.

Jon Johnston (Sales Director at KBB Birmingham) proclaimed “this year’s KBB, Birmingham has been an outstanding success for everyone involved.”

Showerwall’s Best Ever Show

Showerwall celebrated its 21st birthday in style; unveiling big surprises, range updates and product innovations on a huge 100m2 stand.

The IDS Stand at KBB 2016

By leads generated, stand visitors and general buzz, Showerwall experienced its best ever outing at this year’s KBB Exhibition. 1200 bags, 300 branded cupcakes and more than a few bottles of Prosecco were handed out to the plethora of interested attendees. It was however the Showerwall ducks that proved most popular with stand-goers as 2000 of them flew out the door.

Now that the show is over we’re asking everyone who picked up a duck to submit an image to show us what it has been up to over the last two weeks. We’ve already had one from David Wickens (below) – if you think you can do better, then show us…

The Big Announcements

There were some huge announcements made by Showerwall. The presentation of 7 new décors, the introduction of an amazing new sealing innovation, and the unveiling of an incredible new collection: Showerwall Infinity were undoubtedly the highlights.

SureSeal

Sureseal Point Of Sale at KBB 2016

One of the biggest surprises came in the form of SureSeal – the newest sealing innovation from Showerwall. It provides even greater sealing performance for our panels with its fully enclosed sealant line and 4 points of seal. The neat trim capping not only provides an aesthetically pleasing finish at the base of the shower panel but adds two points of further sealing to the wall panelling system. We think it’s the perfect partner to Showerwall, we hope you agree. To visit the SureSeal product section of the website just follow showerwall.co.uk/product/sureseal

To Infinity and Beyond

Showerwall Whispering Grass Infinity behind a tap

Perhaps the biggest revelation of all came in the shape of Showerwall Infinity – a brand new collection of 16 décors encompassing unique textures & effects, super matte, 3D effects, a designer range and digital print.

The exciting designer range ‘Whispering Grass’ was developed by the internationally renowned Lars Contzen. These big and bold styles are sure to fit the bill for people wanting to add vibrant statement décors to a modern bathroom. Also noteworthy are the two Fenix NTM® décors (Grigio Efeso and Rosa Colorado) that capture the growing taste for matte surfaces within interior design. With super low light-reflectivity, softness to the touch and thermohealing properties; the Infinity Collection is Showerwall with a significant upgrade.

It seems like everyone craves a bespoke solution or some kind of personalisation these days and Showerwall Infinity now caters for that demand with their Digital Print option. Choose from 2 breath-taking pre-set print décors or capture your own image and the Showerwall team will turn it into a bathroom panel for you! It’s the ultimate in personalisation.

The entire Showerwall Infinity collection will also be available in April 2016 and samples will be available to order online.
